Leeds Bread Co-op is an independent artisan bakery and workers’ co-operative, with a passion for making slowly fermented sourdough bread with simple, high-quality ingredients, in an ethical workplace. This social enterprise was founded in 2012 by three founding members who wanted to make delicious and healthy bread available to people in and around Leeds.
Co-operative is based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. In the tradition of their founders, co-operative members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness social responsibility and caring for others. TNS hold the same values, ensuring all the work we do inside and outside the kitchen is practiced to exacting standards every day.
